PRIZE: One set of (two) Signia AX premium hearing aids, with 3 years of warranty, programming, cleaning, drying, and warranty service at no cost, to each of two winners.

 

PRIZE VALUE:

The total approximate value of each of the two prize packages is $8,070.00. Triangle Marketing Associates, Inc., WKJO-FM, assumes no liability or responsibility in connection with the use of any prize awarded hereunder nor in connection with any warranty or representation therewith. Odds of winning the prize depend on the number of participants.

 

HOW WINNER WILL BE DETERMINED:

Contest entries will be screened to validate that each contestant indicates a loss of hearing via their answer to the entry form question: “How has hearing loss affected your life?”  Failure to answer that question and answers not indicating any hearing loss history will become ineligible.   Two winners will then be randomly selected from all remaining eligible entries, on Tuesday, May 31st, and winners will be announced on WKJO-FM, and contacted individually using their entered contact information.

PRIZE REDEMPTION/CLAIM/RELEASES:

Prizes will be awarded by Coates Hearing Clinic, PA, who will notify winners using contact information provided in the contest registration.  Winners will be required to visit the clinic for testing, fitting and follow-up care. Winners who do not respond to notification of winning and make arrangements with the clinic for the testing, fitting and follow-up care, within 30 days of notification of winning, will forfeit their prize. No substitution of the prize or transfer of the prize to a third party is permitted and prize cannot be redeemed for cash value. All costs, fees, and expenses, not specifically included in the grand prize description are solely the responsibility of the grand prize winner. To meet Federal Tax regulations, all winners are responsible for all taxes associated with the prize. Prizes may be considered income and taxes on said prizes are solely the responsibility of the winner. Compliance with all regulations is solely the responsibility of the winner. The winner, by acceptance of a prize, agrees to release Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM, and Coates Hearing Clinic PA, their sponsors, advertising and promotion agencies from any and all liability for claims, actions or proceedings for injuries or damages sustained in connection with the receipt, ownership or use of the prize or while traveling to, preparing for or participating in any prize-related activity. By playing the contest, or by winning, participants have awarded Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM and Coates Hearing Clinic PA the right to publicize their name, photograph or likeness, voice and details and have accepted and agreed to comply with and be bound by these rules. 

 

ELIGIBILITY:

No purchase necessary. Void where prohibited. Only hearing impaired contestants are elegible, and official hearing testing will medically confirm or refute suspected or claimed hearing loss once a w winner is tested. The prize package is of no value to a winner without hearing loss.  Employees of Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM,  their parent companies, agencies, subsidiaries, representatives, sponsors, affiliates, distributors, suppliers, and advertising, promotional agencies and their immediate families and employees of competing media companies are not eligible to participate. Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM, reserves the right to disqualify in their sole discretion any entrant or entry if the contest rules are not followed. No substitution of prizes or transfer of prizes to a third party is permitted. No groups, clubs, or organizations may participate in this contest, or reproduce or distribute any portion of these rules to its members.

LIABILITY:

Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM, is not responsible for problems associated with television transmission, radio transmission, cable transmission, satellite transmission, phone lines, or the phone number for this contest that are beyond the control of Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM . This includes, but not limited to, a busy signal on the contest phone line, operator interference, cellular interference, technical or atmospheric conditions that disrupt the completion of the phone call or for technical difficulties which may prohibit the transmission of their television or radio signals to all or limited geographic areas during the playing of the contest. Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM,   are not responsible for cancellations, postponements, or delays.

SOCIAL MEDIA AND WEBSITE:

Winner will be selected by random under the supervision of Coates Hearing Clinic PA.  . Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM, shall have no liability for Winner’s failure to receive notices due to spam, junk e-mail or other security settings or for Winner’s provision of incorrect or otherwise non-functioning contact information. Receipt by Winner of the prize offered in this promotion is conditioned upon compliance with any and all federal, state, and local laws and regulations. ANY VIOLATION OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES BY WINNER (at Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM’s,  SOLE DISCRETION) WILL RESULT IN WINNER’S DISQUALIFICATION AS WINNER OF THE CAMPAIGN, AND ALL PRIVILEGES AS WINNER WILL BE IMMEDIATELY TERMINATED.

Without any further compensation, notice, review, or consent.  By entering this content, you represent and warrant that your entry is an original work of authorship, and does not violate any third party’s proprietary or intellectual property rights. If your entry infringes upon the intellectual property right of another, you will be disqualified at the sole discretion of Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM. If the content of your entry is claimed to constitute infringement of any proprietary or intellectual proprietary rights of any third party, you shall, at your sole expense, defend or settle against such claims. You shall indemnify, defend, and hold harmless Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM from and against any suit, proceeding, claims, liability, loss, damage, costs or expense, which Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM may incur, suffer, or be required to pay arising out of such infringement or suspected infringement of any third party’s right.

OTHER TERMS & CONDITIONS:

Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the promotion should virus, bug, non-authorized human intervention, fraud, or other cause beyond Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM control corrupt or affect the administration, security, fairness, or proper conduct of the promotion. In such case, Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM,  may select the Winner from all eligible entries received prior to and/or after (if appropriate) the action taken by Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM . Triangle Marketing Associates, WKJO-FM, reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who tampers or attempts to tamper with the entry process or the operation of the promotion or website or violates these Terms and Conditions.
